Description
Senex Silvae is a masterpiece in map design. You play as a deity, the Old Man of the Forest, gone in quest of a missing portion of yourself. Throughout the map, you will sneak through enemy lines, invisible, contact ancient and potent forces for help, raise armies of deceased souls, lay siege to a castle, and conquer a warlock, made strong by ill-gotten powers.
Excellent map, great flow, great fun, beautiful landscape, great story; what more could you want?
Posted by: Lugas at January 18, 2007 13:22:31added, that I tried it, and it crashes after 4 minutes. Many times it crashes between 3:59 and 4:06. Since it's Senex Silvae v1, that's easy to understand. With the latest patch from magma, it didn't see this plugin as a map. When I tried with the patches 1.2 and 1.3 installed it saw it as a regular map. I can play it for just 4 minutes (like it was a demo version of it)
Posted by: logictheo at June 11, 2006 01:12:17It's excellent, as you say people playing coop will need a lot of patience in the beginning! I remember playing it coop, but we didn't continue, and as I had it on mac, it usually also crashed near the castle.

Not really meant for co-op, because of the high number of mistakes that can be made in the beginning - they'd really get very frustrating without any chance to save and load. But it is A Masterpiece In Map Design indeed, and worth recognition by all with its calm, mysterious and slightly creepy atmosphere.
